I really liked The Virgin’s Night Out. It was a short read, fast paced, engaging, and certainly hit the spot. I love the one night stand trope and it was done well here. And the Virgin’s Night Out was more than just a couple hooking up. I loved the daring of our heroine, she felt real to me with her doubts and determination. Loved Boone as well, and I was drawn to him the moment I met him. I liked that the story just wasn’t about the one night they burned the sheets down (though that was delicious). Things happened. A botched job, prison in mexico, amnesia, reunited with friends and family, a secret…and the plot never felt convoluted. I liked it….
Also loved the chemistry between Boone and Sloane. I thought the romance could have been developed more. I mean I got the chemistry and hot sex, but a part of me wanted to see more possibilities to their happy ever after. I was still satisfied and I would recommend this short, yet sexy contemporary read.
