There are two sides to every Gemini guy...and one of them is red-hot.
Olivia Carter has a handsome, millionaire boyfriend. She's madly in love with him. The hitch? He doesn't actually exist. She told the lie to saveForever, her wedding design shop. And it worked-almost too well. As the media attention increases, so do the demands for Olivia to produce her "boyfriend." With both her reputation and career in jeopardy, Olivia is desperate enough to do almost anything...
Which is exactly what millionaire Mason Parker wants. Thanks to Olivia and her father, Mason went through hell during his teen years, and now it's time for a little payback-starting with the announcement that he's her one and only. Now the sexy Olivia has no choice but to do what Mason wants. But none of his plans for vengeance included falling in love with the woman he planned to ruin...
My thoughts 3.5 Stars.
I have a weakness for revenge stories. The minute I read the blurb I had to read The Millionaire’s Forever. It was an enjoyable read, more sweet, light and sexy, instead of intense and passionate.
I loved Mason. I appreciated everything about his character. I liked the way he hated to be attracted to Olivia, yet was so drawn to her. He appreciated her sexiness, her independence, her smart and sassy mouth, her addictive taste, her delectable body. I know he was supposed to be this hard edge alpha guy bent on revenge, but I could only see the honorable, sweet and charming guy. Really loved him. Olivia herself was great, fiercely independent and beautiful. She knew what she wanted from life with a certainty that was admirable, and she was not a pushover for Mason’s charm and wealth. Really enjoyed her character as well and thought they were good together.
The plot was okay. Loved the reason for revenge, I just wished it had been delved deeper into. I wanted to know what happened to the men that attacked Olivia in the past and set Mason up. Cause those A$$holes deserved ruination for the way the cruelly messed with Mason’s life, and caused the death of a treasured friend. I hope I will discover from Jake and Cole’s book.
This was a good romance. While it did not have me in emotional knots, or had sex scenes that had me hot under the collar, The Millionaire’s Forever was a sensual and sweet read I would recommend to romance lovers.

In this contemporary romance Olivia has invented a boyfriend to help the success of her wedding design company. When Mason steps into the role unasked, it’s because he’s interested in one thing and one thing only from Olivia – revenge. Blackmailed into accepting his new position in her life, can the two of them overcome the past and find a future together?
This was a solid entry in the “Men of the Zodiac” series. I liked both main characters. Mason is definitely a complicated man – on the one hand arrogant and assuming, on the other hand a philanthropist and all around revered man at his company. He has been attracted to Olivia since high school – an attraction that ended up in disaster for him and that has resulted in this path he’s on for revenge. Olivia is a smart, talented businesswoman. She’s not willing to let her company go belly-up by refusing Mason’s demands. What she doesn’t count on is the sexual attraction between them, one that leads to several steamy love scenes. I thought the plot was interesting and unique in scope even if the trope of ‘pretend boyfriend’ was familiar. It was a quick and entertaining read. 3 stars.
About Maria Rose
I love to read all types of books that fall within the romance genre. As a child I received an award for “the most books read in Grade 1″. Naturally the prize was another book! (and to this day I still have it – Alice in Wonderland). Thus began my love affair with reading.
I first started reading romance books when my junior high locker partner would bring her mom’s Harlequins to school for us to giggle over (and have wonderful men star in our teenaged dreams). From there I branched off into historical romance by classic authors such as Johanna Lindsey, Barbara Cartland and Kathleen Woodiwiss. Though I still love historical romances to this day, I also really enjoy contemporary, new adult and erotic romances.I’m married with 2 young children and work full time as a chemist for a pharmaceutical company. I love books that combine humour and romance, and any type of science is always a plus!
